Welcome to Webber International University’s Homecoming Week! This year, we’re excited to introduce the Homecoming Team Rivalry Competition, a fun and spirited event where students, staff, alumni, and the entire Webber family can show their support and compete for amazing prizes. Get ready for a week of vibrant themes, fierce competition, and community celebration!

Event Details:

Theme Days:

• Monday, October 14th: Country Colors – Show pride in your country by wearing your nation’s colors.
• Tuesday, October 15th: Decades Day – Step back in time and dress from your favorite decade.
• Wednesday, October 16th: Pink Out – Support Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing pink.
• Thursday, October 17th: Tacky Tourist – Break out those touristy outfits and get tacky.
• Friday, October 18th: Webber Spirit – Wear your best Webber gear to show your school spirit.

Competition Rules:

1. Participation: All Webber teams (sports, academic, staff departments) are eligible to participate. Each team must dress according to the daily themes and submit a team photo to StudentLife@webber.edu by 3:00 PM each day.

   At the end of each day, the submitted photos will be published on the following social media outlets with a link to the site to vote:

2. Voting: Voting is open to everyone – students, staff, family, friends, and alumni. Each vote costs $1 and you can vote as much as you desire. Votes can be cast online through the Webber 2024 Homecoming page. The link to vote will be active from the start of the week.

3. Winning Criteria: The team with the most votes (most money raised) at the end of the week wins. Half of the total money raised will be added to the winning team’s booster fund, and the other half will contribute to funding Webber’s traditional end-of-year beach party.

4. Deadline: All votes must be submitted by 3:00 PM on Friday, October 18th. The winner will be announced during halftime at the Homecoming football game against the Florida Memorial University Lions on Saturday, October 19th.

Making Your Payment:

Payments for votes can be made directly on the Homecoming Week event page. Payments are secure and can be made using credit/debit cards. Ensure you complete every step to successfully cast your votes!
