Living on Campus - Love to Live, Live to Learn

START LIVING…. Most Webber students call our residence halls home. They provide a safe environment in which students grow and flourish personally, socially, and academically while becoming leaders of the University and the community as a whole. Students can interact easily with each other and experience life here to the fullest. The community spirit grows quickly, and student life encourages and nurtures individual goals and the academic growth of its students

The residence halls are centrally located on the beautiful shores of Crooked Lake. There are five residence halls. Grace Hall has shared room accommodations for male students, and Camilla Hall has shared room accommodations for our female students. Residence Halls Rose, Strickler, and Miranda each have single private bedrooms, a semi-private bath, and a suite lounge. All residence halls have laundry facilities, cable, ethernet, and a micro-fridge. The residence halls are adjacent to the Babson Center, which houses the dining room.

All of the rooms in the residence halls are fully furnished. They include a bed, dresser, desk, and closet for each resident. A twin-size bed is also provided. Leather couches and chairs are provided in the common living area.

All residence halls are smoke/vape free.

Resident Assistants, leaders within the student housing community, live in the residence halls to provide whatever assistance and guidance residents may need.

Making Your Room A Home

Remember, most students come with too much, very few come with too little. Your room already comes with a bed, dresser or built-in storage, closet, desk, and chair. You may want to add your own decorative touch on top.

Student Activities

We provide a wide variety of events, both on and off-campus, to enhance your University experience.

Our end of the year “Beach Party” is always a huge success. There is music, food, drinks, and fireworks. Boats line the lakeshore as students pack the beach and the pool area and compete in volleyball tournaments. Students are always eager to get their deeply discounted tickets to all the local Florida attractions, like Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, Walt Disney World, Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, and local professional sporting events.

There are no classes at Webber on Wednesdays, so there are TWO “Friday” nights each week. Many student activities are held on Tuesday nights. Events we have consist of big parties on campus with a DJ playing popular music, a campus-wide “color run” that has become a fan favorite, and monthly bowling nights at no cost to students, to name a few.

Some other activities are “Wacky Wednesday”, where students can dunk a professor, weekly movie nights, and movie nights under the stars (with free food and drink, of course), Pictionary, glow parties, Halo tournaments, Karaoke Idol…and the list goes on!
