Giving to the Annual Fund
The sustaining support of alumni, parents, and friends continues to advance the University to higher levels of excellence.
Give your support where Webber needs it most. Make a gift to the Annual Fund, and Webber will be able to use your donation immediately to support our most urgent needs.
As a private University, Webber depends on the philanthropic support of the community it serves. Because the University cannot be sustained by tuition alone, all donations are greatly appreciated and will be used to continue a tradition of academic excellence.
The Annual Fund is the primary means by which alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends provide financial support to the University. The fund provides money for academic scholarships, need-based scholarships, academic programs, campus improvements, teaching excellence and faculty developments.
Donations to the Webber Annual Fund are tax-deductible and you can choose from several gift options – give or pledge now, make a one-year or multi-year pledge, or set up a monthly recurring gift via credit card or bank debit.
The latter two plans are easy ways to maximize the power of your giving while increasing the return to Webber. Even larger gifts are manageable when you give incrementally over a period of time. Also, by participating in a pledge plan, you help reduce paper and postage costs, which ensures your dollars go further.
Remember that Webber International University is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit private university, so your gift is tax deductible. If you would like more information on how you can further support Webber, please contact Rebecca Klepacki at 863-638-2918.
Classroom Renovation Campaign
Webber International University’s Classroom Renovation Campaign will help create collaborative and highly engaged learning environments to promote academic success in the classroom. Webber attracts both non-athletes and student-athletes, so it is important to provide attractive and efficient learning spaces for all of our students to benefit from.
In the fall of 2017, upgrades began on a “model” classroom, which has received tremendous feedback from our students and faculty. Classroom 201 has been transformed with fresh paint, new flooring, window treatments, and innovative desks and seating. The next stage includes replacing the traditional white boards with state-of-the-art glass boards that are projectable (which will eliminate the need for a projector screen), a short-throw projector, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The hope is that one day in the near future, all of the classrooms in the McConnell Building will be renovated with the support of our alumni and friends.
The continuous improvements that Webber International University is making to both its programs and its facilities illustrate the school’s commitment to the higher education of the student body. Beyond a high-quality education, the ultimate goal is to see Webber students grow both athletically and academically. In a collaborative, highly engaged learning environment, this can be achieved with the learning tools provided to both students and faculty.
Webber is a not-for-profit university that operates on a tight budget. The support of our alumni and friends is crucial with projects such as this. We are accepting donations of any amount and naming rights to the classrooms are available. With your support, our goal is to make our classrooms conducive to learning which will aid in the recruitment and retention of students. Webber is here to create the business leaders of tomorrow and that all begins in the classroom.
