Categories: Blog, News

The colleges and universities of Polk County are proud to announce the first annual Countywide College Career Fair to be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 9a.m. to 1p.m. in the Polk State College Lakeland Campus LTB Building (3425 Winter Lake Road, Lakeland, FL 33803). This event is being organized by a subcommittee of the joint Polk Vision/Central Florida Development Council Talent Pipeline Team.

The purpose of this event is to connect local businesses to talent, while also introducing Polk County college students to the vast array of internship and employment opportunities. One of the goals of the Talent Pipeline Team is to retain local talent after graduation. In an effort to align this event with the overarching goals, first priority for registration will be given to those employers who have opportunities for internships and/or employment in Polk County.

Employers are still invited to register for this event. Space is limited, so those who are interested in attending are encouraged to reserve their space quickly! Employers can follow this link to register – https://app.joinhandshake.com/career_fairs/7117/employer_preview.
