Webber International University announced today that it has hired Dr. Nichole Murray to lead its newly added Health Services Administration Program on its Babson Park, Florida campus.
Dr. Charles Shieh, the University’s Chief Academic Officer and the Florida Campus’ Academic Dean, said, “Dr. Murray brings a wealth of experience to her role as Coordinator of the Health Services Administration Program.” Murray has over 10 years of experience in program and policy analysis as a Senior Management Analyst at the Florida Department of Children and Families. Dr. Murray has worked extensively in the area of mental health. In addition, she has assisted in the development, implementation and oversight of recovery-focused psychosocial rehabilitation programs that included system redesign, case management, and staff training. She has also developed draft amendments to the Florida Administrative Code regarding case management services and has conducted reviews of and provided consultation on various models of case management used by different states.
Dr. Murray has comprehensive experience and knowledge in coordinating care and delivery of health services with Humana and the Florida Department of Children and Families. She has worked collaboratively with community and health providers in designing health programs that influence behavioral changes resulting in clinical improvement and individual well-being.
Dr. Murray has Masters degrees in both Public Health and Social Work from Florida State University and a Doctorate of Public Health, with a focus on adolescent mental health and the contextual factors affecting use of services by adolescents and their families, from the University of South Florida. She has also previously taught in the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida.
