The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women (ages 18 – 30) to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. Rotaract is about helping people. If we see a need in the community, our school, or within our group, we have the means and drive to address it. Community service is at the heart of our organization, but not at the expense of serving our campus and serving each other. Rotaract is also about developing leadership and professional skills. Everyone involved in Rotaract at Webber has an opportunity to step into a campus leadership position if they so desire. Everyone also has the opportunity to interact with Rotary leaders and develop skills that will help them be successful as professional adults.
