Required Courses

In addition to meeting the common core requirements for the degree, students pursuing a BSBA degree with a Hospitality & Tourism Management major are required to take the following courses:

HTM220 – Accommodations Operations Mgmt.
HTM215 – Food and Beverage Management
HTM295 – Hospitality & Tourism Field Trip & Experience
MKT375 – Social Media & Mobile Media Branding
HTM300 – Human Resource Management of the Hospitality & Tourism Industry
HTM475 – Operations Analysis in Hospitality & Tourism
SBM440 – Facilities and Event Management
HTM495 – Hospitality & Tourism Internship

In addition to meeting the common core requirements for the degree, students pursuing an ASBA degree with a Hospitality & Tourism Management major are required to take the following courses:

15 Credits

HTM190 – Introduction to Hospitality & Tourism Mgmt.
HTM215 – Food and Beverage Management
HTM220 – Accommodations Operations Mgmt.

15 Credits

Two (2) courses at the HTM 100 or 200 levels
Two (2) courses at the HTM 300 or 400 levels
One (1) HTM Internship or/Field Experience
