Program Director’s Message

Dear Students:

Greetings and welcome to the Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy Assisting (OTA), with a minor in Health Services Administration (HSA) program website! Did you know that this program is the first of its kind in the State of Florida? Indeed, this is the first time in the history of occupational therapy practice that an OTA degree is offered at the baccalaureate level. As a graduate of this program, you will not only possess the clinical skills to treat clients with various conditions, but you will also acquire skills in leadership and health services administration, which will allow you to assume more challenging roles in leadership and management within the profession and the healthcare industry.

We are fortunate to have a very experienced faculty and a great variety of clinical sites in which to place our students for fieldwork experiences offered at traditional and emerging practices in occupational therapy.
