DEGREE COMBINATIONS

Any student pursuing a four-year degree may elect to pursue an Associate of Science degree in one area of concentration and a Bachelor of Science in another area of concentration. Such diversity of effort not only broadens ones horizon, but offers flexibility among alternate employment opportunities in todays fluctuating business environment.

A student wishing to earn a second bachelors degree in another concentration would complete 120 credit hours toward the B.S. degree in the first area, then would be required to complete an additional 30 credit hours in the second area. HOWEVER, none of the 30 credit hours in the second area CAN be duplicated of the 30 specialty hours from the first area.

The student will complete the second B.S. degree with a minimum of 150 credit hours. A student wishing to earn a second associate’s degree in another concentration would complete 60 credit hours toward the A.S. degree in the first area, then would be required to complete an additional 15 credit hours in the second area. HOWEVER, none of the 15 credit hours in the second area CAN be duplicated of the specialty hours from the first area.
