Webber International University offers a Master’s in Business Administration in five areas: Accounting, International Business (Online), Management, Criminal Justice Management, and Sport Business Management. The MBA program is designed to utilize in-class instruction, modern information technology, team projects, and practical consulting experience to prepare its graduates for global business competition. Admission to the MBA program will be based on both quantitative and qualitative criteria.

  1. Application
    Submit the Application for Admissions either online or by submitting the paper copy. There is a $75 non-refundable application fee that must be paid with the application.Apply Here
  2. Transcripts
    Submit your official transcripts from all previous undergraduate and graduate work showing that you have a degree equivalent to a four-year Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Photo copies of transcripts are not official and cannot be accepted. If the official transcript is not issued in English we also require an official English translation. If you submit the transcript yourself, be sure that you submit it in a sealed envelope.

    *Transcripts received by Webber International University become the property of Webber and will not be returned to the applicant or forwarded to any other institution. Please do not send us your original transcript/diploma if you have no other copies.

  3. Foreign Credential Evaluation
    If you earned your degree from a foreign university you need to submit a foreign credential evaluation of your foreign university transcript. We advise students to use World Education Services but evaluations from other companies will be accepted as well at the discretion of the admissions office.World Education Services Website
  4. Letter of Recommendation
    Submit three (3) letters of recommendation from academic or professional advisors. Graduates of Webber’s Bachelor program may only submit one (1) letter of recommendation from currently employed faculty, staff, or coaches.
  5. Essay
    Submit a one page essay answering one of the following three questions:

    • What contributions do you expect the MBA program will make to your career development?
    • What contribution can you make to the learning process of your peers in the program?
    • What business project is of interest to both you and your employer?
  6. Resume
    Submit a copy of your current resume or CV.
  7. English Proficiency Requirement
    Submit proof of English proficiency such as TOEFL (school code 5893), IELTS, or completion of English as a Second Language program. The English proficiency requirement is only for students whose first language is not English. A student, who has studied in a school where all courses are instructed in the English language, may request waiver of the English proficiency requirement. Substitutes for the tests listed above may be accepted after evaluation by the admissions office.TOEFL on ETS Website
  8. GMAT
    The GMAT might be required for certain applicants. Applicants will be informed by an admissions counselor if a GMAT score is required for acceptance into the Graduate Program. Test Scores if required of the applicant must be received by the Graduate School by the application deadline. Applicants should arrange to have test scores sent directly to the Graduate School from the Graduate Management Admission Council.
  9. Student Visa
    International Students studying in the U.S. are required to obtain an F-1 student visa prior to their arrival to the U.S. using the form I-20. Webber will issue the form I-20 once an international student has been accepted and has submitted the Certification of Financial Responsibility along with proof of financial funds. Students transferring from another U.S. school also need to submit the Visa Transfer Form.View Student Visa Process

The Graduate School reserves the right to evaluate the applicant’s potential by conducting a personal interview in addition to all other requirements for admission, if deemed necessary.


Students with non-business undergraduate majors might need to take a few additional courses at Webber or other regionally accredited institutions to enhance their fundamental understanding of business functions before entering the MBA program. The suggested pre-MBA foundation courses are:

  • A course in Economics
  • Two courses in Accounting
  • A course in Algebra or Calculus
  • A course in Statistics
  • A course in Computer Applications
  • A course in Finance
  • A course in Social Science


Each applicant will be considered for admission to the MBA program based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative information. If these measures are deemed satisfactory by the Graduate Council, an applicant can be granted admission according to the following quantitative levels of achievement:

I. Honors Acceptance

A. Need a minimum of 3.5 undergraduate GPA
B. A minimum score of 530 GMAT

II. Regular Acceptance

A. GMAT + Quality Points = 550 or higher
B. (GPA * 200) + Quality Points = 650 or higher
C. GMAT +(GPA*200) + Quality Points =1,100 or higher

III. Provisional Acceptance

GMAT + (GPA * 200) + Quality Points = 1000-1099
*Quality Points are based on experience, resume, essay and references.


Students who are accepted into the Graduate School may transfer in no more than 6 credit hours from an MBA program from a regionally accredited college or university. The student must have earned a grade of at least “B-” for each of the classes which are requested to be accepted for transfer credit. Additionally, these credits may not take the place of any of the last 9 credits of the MBA Program (the Practicum course(s) MBA690 – Strategic Thinking in Organizations). Additionally, any MBA course taken from Webber will not be considered for credit toward the MBA degree if the course was taken more than 7 years from the student’s projected graduation date.


  • Fall acceptance – students must submit applications by August 1
  • Spring acceptance – applications must be submitted by January 1
