Giving a Gift

For all of our students, the cost of higher education remains the greatest challenge that they and their families face. It may come as a surprise that the actual cost to educate a student at a private university is roughly the same as at a public university, the only difference is who pays for it. At public universities, your tax dollars cover much of the cost of educating students. At private colleges and universities, a much greater share is borne by students and their families, modestly supplemented by private gifts.

Webber International University is no different; your gift to our Annual Fund each year helps make it possible for these students to attend Webber. This is one place where you can give something back and make a huge difference in a student’s life.

We encourage you to spread the word about the quality of a Webber International University education and to continue to support us as one of your highest charitable priorities. The reason for giving is unique to each, but there is a sense of fulfillment that comes from knowing that the gifts you make will have a significant impact on our University. Our University’s Annual Fund makes a difference by providing additional support to every department and program at the University. Larger, once-in-a-lifetime donations are certainly always needed, but smaller, unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund are vital.

If you are a regular donor, we sincerely thank you for your continued support. If you have not given to Webber in a while, we hope that you will consider giving again. We are all important players in Webber’s continued success. As our forefather Benjamin Franklin eloquently stated, “An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.”

Remember that Webber International University is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit private university, so your gift is tax deductible. If you would like more information on how you can further support Webber, please contact Jennifer Mueller.

Leave Your Mark at Webber! International Flag Plaza Brick Campaign

Alumni, students, and friends of Webber International University are invited to leave their mark on the Webber campus through the purchase of a personalized engraved brick. Your brick will be part of the beautifully re-designed International Flag Plaza, located just outside of the Grace and Roger Babson Library, featuring the historic Rogers granite monument as its centerpiece. Your name, carved in a brick and placed in the plaza, will symbolize the spirit you felt when you were at Webber—the same spirit still present on the campus today!

The International Flag Plaza Brick Campaign is a unique opportunity for students, alumni, faculty, staff and loyal supporters of Webber to show their WARRIOR pride by donating a timeless gift. What a wonderful way to offer encouragement to students while at the same time, honoring or paying tribute to someone important to you through your brick’s inscription. Bricks may be purchased to commemorate a school year, honor a special faculty member, or honor a graduate or future graduate. A brick is a permanent means of honoring something or someone special in your life.

In addition to enhancing the overall appearance of the Flag Plaza, your contributions to the Brick Campaign will be used to support various initiatives aimed at beautifying our campus. Each 4×8 inch brick will accommodate three lines of engraving and up to sixteen characters per line, including spacing and punctuation. Bricks are available in 4×8 inch and 8×8 inch sizes and are priced at $100 and $300 respectively. Order your brick today, and invest in the future of Webber International University.
