I have been accepted…what happens next?

Now that you have been accepted, the most important step in your journey to attending Webber is complete!!! We are excited that you are planning on attending Webber the upcoming semester and look forward to welcoming you to our Webber family. The process of enrolling in college is a scary one but we are here each step of the way.

Before you can enroll there are a few things you will need to complete first. Please follow the steps below as they will guide you until your arrival at Webber. If you have any questions regarding this process you can contact the Admissions Office any time at 863-638-2910 or

Here are the next steps…

  1. Financial Aid
    U.S. citizens and permanent residents should check with the Financial Aid Office regarding any missing financial aid paperwork. The Financial Aid Office can be contacted at 863-638-2929. Once all financial aid paperwork has been completed, they can prepare your award package and provide an estimate of your expenses.

  2. Deposit
    Hurry up and reserve your place at Webber!!! Classes and dorms are filling up quickly. Don’t miss out on your first choice of housing. There is a deposit payment due in order to accept our offer of admission and reserve your dorm room.
    U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents

    • Off-campus: $130 (tuition deposit)
    • On-campus: $350 ($130 tuition deposit plus $220 housing deposit)

    International Students

    • Off-campus: $1,000 (International deposit to receive I-20, includes $130 tuition deposit)
    • On-campus: $1,220 (International deposit to receive I-20, includes $130 tuition deposit, plus $220 housing deposit)

    The tuition deposit is non-refundable and the housing deposit is only refundable if requested in writing up to 30 days prior to the first day of classes (see the Enrollment Agreement for details).

    You can pay the deposit the following ways:

    • Credit card: We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Make payment online by clicking on the link below, or by calling the Business Office at 863-638-2944 to pay over the phone.
      When paying online you will be prompted to enter a password. You will receive the password from your admissions counselor once you are accepted to Webber.

  3. Acceptance Paperwork
    Please complete and submit the following acceptance paperwork:

    • Enrollment Agreement
    • Student Services Agreement
    • Housing Application – on-campus housing only
    • Verification of Immunization
    • Physical Form
    • Medical Form

    You can complete the paperwork online. When clicking on the link you will be prompted to enter a password. You will receive the password from your admissions counselor once you are accepted to Webber.

  4. Health Insurance
    All students are required to have sufficient health coverage while attending Webber. Insurance coverage is provided by Webber. International students and any uninsured students are required to purchase the university provided primary coverage. U.S. citizens and permanent residents with personal health insurance have the option to purchase university provided athletic insurance at a reduced cost. The option of athletic insurance is at the discretion of our Head Athletic Trainer after review of the student’s personal insurance coverage. To be eligible for athletic insurance, please read and complete the Insurance Affidavit Form.

  5. Final Official Transcript
    Make sure to mail us your final official High School transcript showing that a standard High School diploma was earned and submit any updated test scores. Transfer students need to make sure to submit updated university transcripts reflecting any recent grades and degrees earned.*Transcripts received by Webber International University become the property of Webber and will not be returned to the applicant or forwarded to any other institution. Please do not send us your original transcript/diploma if you have no other copies. 
  6. Tuition Payment
    Prior to your arrival to Webber, make sure that you pay your balance to the business office. You can contact them at 863-638-2944 or businessoffice@webber.eduInternational Students: 50% of your total balance must be paid by July 31, 2015. The remainder will be due before you can enroll in classes. Failure to enroll can result in termination of your I-20.
  7. Orientation
    Orientation is an exciting time to learn more about Webber and make your first college friends. Orientation is mandatory for all new incoming students. During orientation you will complete your final step on your journey of enrolling in Webber: testing and registration. All freshman students and certain transfer students are required to complete a placement test prior to being able to register for their classes. But don’t worry, we also have many fun activities planned. Spring 2016 orientation is from January 6-8, 2016. Classes will start January 11, 2016. Make sure to make all travel arrangements accordingly.
