International Student -- Kyla Williamson
Webber International University has exposed me to a number of different people and cultures from around the world because of their international status. As an international student myself, I have not only shared a lot of my experiences with others, but also I have learned a lot.
I chose Webber for the personalized attention that I receive. My core classes for my BA in Accounting are very focused, which allows me to comfortably ask questions and be more involved in classes. I am not just a number, which was important in my decision.
The atmosphere here is like one big family, where students and faculty know everyone by face or name and the faculty members here are always willing to go the extra mile to help.
The school schedules a number of activities and sporting events to help maintain school spirit. We have intramural sports, parties, socials and outings and our famous Beach Party on the lake every April. We also have a number of clubs and organizations such as the Student Leadership and the newspaper and our marketing club that travels to different states on an annual basis.
I have been able to balance a part-time job in the admissions office and keep up my classes which help me to better manage my time, and earn some extra cash at the same time. I also plan to enter the master’s degree program and continue my studies in accounting at Webber which would put me on track to becoming certified.

| My advice to future students: Webber may not be as well known as some of the larger schools, but, if you are truly willing to learn in an environment that is more personalized, you could not pick a better campus. |
