Graduate Admissions
Graduate Admissions
International students who are seeking admission as graduate students will need to submit official transcripts in the original language (if other than English) and an English translation.
International colleges and universities must be recognized by the Ministry of Education, Department of Education or other official accrediting body in the country in which the student studied. Coursework completed at technical schools may be eligible for graduate admission. However, coursework completed at vocational schools does not qualify the student for graduate studies.
Students applying for graduate admission based upon work completed in foreign universities must have their transcripts evaluated by a professional evaluation service. The Webber International University faculty will make the final decision regarding transfer credit into the university degree programs. Webber International University recommends several services that can be contacted through the links provided.
TOEFL or completion of English as a Second Language program may be used to satisfy the English proficiency requirements. Some schools abroad are teaching course work in English. A student, who has studied in a school where all courses are instructed in the English language, may request waiver of the TOEFL requirement.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
International students should consider the time required to obtain a student visa when making application. Visas require at least 30 days to obtain in most countries. Normal review of applications will begin on March 1, with full consideration given to applications submitted by May 15. Once the file contains all required information, the applicant's status will be communicated in writing within 45 days.

Students who are accepted into the Graduate School may transfer in no more than 6 credit hours from an MBA program from a regionally accredited college or university. The student must have earned a grade of at least "B-" for each of the classes which are requested to be accepted for transfer credit. Additionally, these credits may not take the place of any of the last 9 credits of the MBA Program (the Practicum course(s) MBA690 - Strategic Thinking in Organizations). To assess overall student achievement, each student, nearing program completion, as part of a group, will complete a capstone course(MBA690) which is designed to synthesize knowledge of all business disciplines. In addition to the capstone course, each student will be a member of a group assigned the responsibility to develop a comprehensive business consulting report addressing the needs of a particular organization.
Each student must earn a minimum of 36 graduate semester credits (12 classes) of which 30 hours must be earned at Webber International University. The degree must be completed within seven years of the date from which the first MBA class is completed at Webber.
