Complete the CFL & Request a Stafford Loan

*Please remember the User ID and password that you have chosen, you may need it to complete other WIU forms.

ALL domestic students are required to complete a CFL. If you wish to request a Stafford Loan, please click on the appropriate link below.

STEPS:

1. Complete the CFL and submit it.

2. Click on the link to finish the loan application process which is found on the confirmation page. You will then be directed to a list of lenders for the Stafford Loan.

3. Choose a lender and follow the link to their website.

4. Complete the Master Promissory Note (MPN) in its entirety. You should reach a confirmation page when you are finished. You have not completed the process until you have reached the confirmation page.

5. The Stafford Entrance Counseling must also be completed before receiving a Stafford Loan by going to http://www.mapping-your-future.org.
