Hello, my name is Ada L. Suarez Dipas. I am from Peru, and Lima is my hometown. I transferred to Webber International University from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. I really enjoy the atmosphere of Babson Park. Living on campus at Webber is a great experience since I am able to meet people from all over the world!

I am one of many international students at Webber, which makes my experience in college very enriching. This is my second semester at Webber, and I am very happy with my eventful college life. I am a full time student, a Warrior Student Leader, a math tutor, and a student worker in the Academic Affairs Office.

I will graduate in May of 2010 with a Business Management degree. Class sizes allow students to establish close relationships with professors who facilitate the study process in a very approachable way.

I look forward to meeting you all soon!

Hi. My name is Lauren Trump. I am from Indiana majoring in Finance with a minor in Marketing. When I came to Webber during an Open House, I decided that this was the school that I wanted to attend. I loved the fact that school was focused, the professors that I talked to were nice, and that the school was international. I thought that it was interesting to see all of the different cultures on university campus. The thing that I like the best about Webber is that all the friends that I have made from all over the world and that everyone knows each other.

I would love to tell you more about my experience, so please feel free to contact me.

My name is Marcelo Suartz, and I am originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. One of the main reasons I came to Webber is for the great business education and for one of the most effective bowling programs in the US. The amazing partnership between Webber International and the Kegel Training Center resulted in earning 3rd place at the National Championship tournament for the first season in 2008! I also recommend Webber for students who like to interact with people from all over the world since approximately 22% of the students are international. Another positive aspect of Webber is that everybody knows who you are, and students can talk to professors, managers, directors and even the President anytime they want due to the open door policy. People are very friendly and receptive and strong friendships can easily be made. Attending Webber has always been my dream. It fulfills all my personal and academic needs in a diverse environment. I really encourage you to become a student at Webber!

My name is Andre Zwaans and I am from the southwestern part of Germany. Having graduated from high school in 2004, I have spent 12 months in the German Army as a conscript before studying Business Administration at the University of Mainz in 2005. During my studies, I was planning my year abroad experience, since international knowledge has become a key factor in the job-market with a special focus on the United States as destination. As I have been playing soccer my whole life, I was also looking for a university where this activity could be combined with an excellent learning environment in business. During an athletic showcase, I met the coach of Webber Men’s Soccer Team, Neil Cockburn, who offered me the possibility of joining the soccer team. After comparing various offers from other universities, I decided to join WIU, since it offered me exactly what I was looking for: a strong sports program and an excellent learning environment with engaging classes. International student body of the university enticed me and gave me an opportunity to meet people from all over the world. What has been planned as a one year experience will now be at least 2 years, and even may end up being the school of my choice to receive an undergraduate degree.
